You know I laughed when I read the schedule for this years event because its is more evident than ever that Val Coleman, Kirk Myers and especially Angela Amos are out of touch with the emerging tastes of todays gays. They are about four years late on trying to bring the ballroom scene to the Metroplex, that should have been done when Sansiski was alive and DSP was still viable. Kudos to Mr. Venton Jones on actually giving 100% in his efforts on the workshops he coordinated. If not for him, the Federation of Black Prides was about to give up on Dallas when they seen that lackluster attempt brought last year. I would have to when looking at the sight of the Sterling Hotel as Dallas Southern Pride's host hotel! Why in God's name did you break the contract with the Doubletree Hotel for the Sterling? In case you didn't know, breach of contract is a civil tort and the law suit from Hilton is still pending. That is if they can ever find Val Coleman.
