I am expecting to relive the emotions that caused many of to take to the streets the day after the raid. Really glad the public as a whole can see/hear first hand testimony and have an understanding of what really transpired.

]]> By: Craig McNeil http://www.dallasvoice.com/anatomy-raid-10103545.html#comment-72332 Craig McNeil Fri, 09 Mar 2012 02:24:31 +0000 http://www.dallasvoice.com/?p=103545#comment-72332 I can’t wait to see this film.  This documents an event that absolutely changed (very very very conservative) Fort Worth forever.  When current Mayor Betsy Price was campaigning, she promised the LGBT community that the progress made after the raid would not be undone.  She rode in last Fall’s pride parade in downtown Fort Worth and saw anti-gay activists shouting hateful rhetoric at the parade participants, spectators, and at herself.  If a self-described conservative Republican can be changed by an event in Fort Worth, progress can be made. 

This film brings me hope of a brighter future.  The Raid was a true moment of change in a long civil rights struggle.  See it.
