I voted for Hubbard today. Even if Texas is considered a "safe win" for all the Republican senators, I would rather vote for a Democrat even if he's sure to lose. I wouldn't be caught dead voting for even the most moderate Republican. I think Hubbard would be an awesome President some day.

Republicans have become increasingly authoritarian during the last 10 years. By everything they do and everything they say, they show that they can't mind their own business.

So what if two LGBT individuals get married? It has no effect on anybody else. Anybody that tells you otherwise is lying and should be made to show proof of harm.

If Republicans use religion to try to justify their position on this issue, they have no leg to stand on. Religion is not proof of anything. Where's the harm if another person doesn't share their religious beliefs?

Republicans just need to find some business of their own to mind and stay out of other people's.

I will not vote for any candidate who thinks that government services and benefits should be limited to one group and denied to another. When the US Constitution was amended after the Civil War, the Fourteenth Amendment granted equal rights, "privileges and immunities," to "[a]ll persons born or naturalized in the United States...." without excluding LGBT citizens.

Republicans need to grow up and get over their obsession with the personal lives of other people. In other words, GOP, BUTT OUT!
