Richard B. "Dirk" Fritsen died Dec. 7 at his home in Dallas.
He was 63.

Fritsen, born in Maywood, Calif., on July 1, 1944, will be remembered as a kind friend to many and as the capable manager of Al's Formal Wear in Oak Lawn where he enjoyed serving his many loyal customers. He will be missed by his many supportive friends.

Fritsen is survived by his sisters, Jan Fritsen and Gena Rickett of Laguna Beach, Calif., and his two cats, Dallas and Amber.

A private family service will be held in California.

Arrangements are under the direction of Aria Cremation Service and Funeral Home, 10116 E. Northwest Highway in Dallas.
