Being open about sex and jealousy Dallas sweethearts Guy Parker and Jesse Santana say porn stardom has strengthened their bond

They have careers most gay men fantasize about and can only fantasize about. And during a recent photo shoot, when Jesse Santana and Guy Parker were asked to be affectionate toward one another, they didn't have to fake it.

Last month, the twentysomething hotties celebrated their one-year anniversary. And if Parker didn't make the first move at a hot-tub party in Plano, true love could have passed them by.

Are they in love?

They both smile while looking at each other and say yes.

Then they kiss.

A talented and versatile performer, Santana is poised for superstar status with Jet Set Productions. Two years ago, he started appearing in porn videos: So far, he has 18 credits under his belt. At next weekend's Gay Video News Awards, Santana has racked up eight nominations, including performer of the year.

Although born in Houston, Santana mostly grew up in Kentucky. He moved to Dallas in October 2006. And mutual friends noticed that his deep, pillowy voice sounded just like Parker's.

After seeing Parker's MySpace pictures, Santana was smitten. One day, Santana borrowed a friend's cell phone and called Parker to see if the voice similarities were true. But Santana discovered that Parker already had a boyfriend.
They were eventually introduced to each other at S4, but the timing was off. A month later when Santana heard Parker was newly single they hooked up at New Year's Day hot-tub party.

"I was afraid to go to the party by myself, so I brought my friends," Parker remembers. "I was getting tired of sitting in hot tub, so I got out and got dressed. Then Jesse got out, and started to go home until I finally stopped him and asked, "'Uh ... do you want some company?'"

"I was waiting for him to make the first move," Santana laughs. "If he didn't, we probably wouldn't be together now."

A week later, Santana moved into Parker's apartment.
The busy porn star eventually brought his partner on location. Director Chi Chi LaRue took one look at Parker and coaxed him into becoming performer. So far, Parker has appeared in four films. This year, he's up for a GAYVN nom for best group-sex scene.

How do hardcore adult entertainers balance love, jealousy and having sex with other smoking-hot dudes?
"We talk about it. There's nothing we can't talk about," Santana says.

"And we try to control it," Parker adds.
Anxiety sets in when work separates them: If they can't be together on a shoot, they often refrain from hanging out with the other models.

"I tell myself, "'I know he's not going to leave me for another boy. And I'm not going to leave him for another boy,'" Santana says.

Parker says now that he's working in porn, they're closer.
"I used to think he just got paid to go out of town and have sex with hot guys. Now I understand that the work is actually work. And that it can be really tiring," he explains.

Now that they're both in the biz, they say their communication has dramatically improved.

"It's easier to play together and be open about who we think is attractive and who we fantasize about. In other relationships, that was always a no-no just having the ability express that we think someone else is hot," Santana says.

If they weren't sexually compatible, do they think they'd be together?

"I do," Santana says. "We more compatible in other ways than just being sexual."

What do you guys fight about?

"He's messy, and I'm really anal about cleaning," Santana says.

"You're anal about everything not just cleaning. Even the CDs are in alphabetical order," Parker says.

"He can be messy," Santana says.

"I'm not messy!" Parker insists.

"Fine, he's lazy sometimes," Santana says.

"I'm not lazy. I'm just not anal about everything," Parker says softly.

Then Santana reaches across Parker's lap to hold his hand. Sweet love.

BURSTING INTO FLAMES

Although they're not paired up in any scenes, Guy Parker and Jesse Santana are featured in the newly released "On Fire!" (Jet Set Men, $59.95). The video was co-directed and written by former Dallasite Chris Steele (aka Jan Milstead). Parker plays a fire squad captain in a five-way shower scene. After being rescued from a brush with death, cadet Santana teams up for the finale with Dean Phoenix. An homage to Ron Howard's "Backdraft," "On Fire!" flaunts some major production value: fire trucks, actual flames and lots of long hoses.
