Pride Institute begins monthly lecture series on LGBT topics

Pride Institute begins a free community lecture series with a presentation Thursday, April 3, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of Hope, 5910 Cedar Springs.

The monthly lectures will focus on a variety of topics, such as communication in relationships, healing low self-esteem and overcoming addictions. The title of the first lecture will be “Coming Out of Shame: The Gay Agenda,” presented by Randy Martin, L.P.C.

The second presentation in the series is scheduled for May 1 at Celebration Community Church, 908 Pennsylvania Ave. in Fort Worth. Kathy L. Tipps, Ph.D., will speak on “Communication: The Foundation for Healthy Relationships.”
