Ben E. Keith hasn’t disregarded Resource Center
This is in response to “Ben E. Keith’s disregard for LGBT community,” (Letters to the editor, Dallas Voice, May 9).
As one of the oldest GLBT and HIV/AIDS service organizations in North Texas, The Resource Center of Dallas has enjoyed a long-standing and mutually beneficial partnership with Ben E. Keith.
Not only has the company provided much-needed financial sponsorship of our events and programs over the years, representatives of Ben E. Keith regularly attend and offer services and support beyond dollars and product.
In every business relationship, there are times when the answer is no, but we have always experienced the company and their representatives as professional and courteous.
The support of companies like Ben E. Keith is vital to the growth and impact of organizations such as ours, as we continue to serve our customers and promote equality and understanding to the broader community.
We are grateful to Ben E. Keith and all of our supporters when they choose to invest financially in our business.
