Richard “Rick” Johnson, 46, formerly of Dallas, died unexpectedly of heart failure at his home near Minneapolis on April 27. His beloved bulldog, Florence, was by his side.

During his many years in Dallas, Johnson was a member of numerous organizations, including the Turtle Creek Chorale. He initially worked in the hotel industry. In later years, he worked in public relations, a job that took him back to his hometown of Minneapolis a few years ago.

He is survived by his parents Larry and Susan Johnson, his sister Susan Johnson, his brother Jeff Johnson and his nieces and nephews. He also left behind many loving friends in Dallas.

Services for Leslie Eugene Robb, 36, of Trinidad, Texas, were held May 18 at First Baptist Church of Trinidad, with Bro. Jim Shafer officiating. Burial followed at Trinidad Cemetery, under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home.

Robb died May 16 in Trinidad. He was born June 11, 1971, in Dallas to the late Bobby Ray Robb and Rena Lynn Suyrratt of Chandler. He was raised by his grandparents in Trinidad, graduating from Trinidad High School in 1989. He went into the Army after graduation, serving in Desert Storm before being discharged in 1994.

He was an avid music lover who sang in churches and was known to his friends in Dallas as “The Karaoke Man,” his mother said. In Dallas, he often sang for benefits in the LGBT community and at nightclubs including DeWayne’s, Buddies II and JR’s. He also loved to dance at The Round-Up Saloon.

He is survived by his mother, by three half-sisters, Nicole Ray Basham, Robbie Ray Murrill and Michelle Ray Wright; his grandmothers, Flora Bell Robb and Joy Swann, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
