Spurlock’s television series “30 Days” is kind of the same thing. Spurlock either subjects himself to a month of new experiences — like working as a West Virginia coal miner — or finds someone else to do it.

Kati, the mother of two adopted sons who was herself adopted as an infant, believes that same-sex parents shouldn’t raise children. In Tuesday’s episode, Kati goes to live with domestic partners Dennis and Thomas Patrick and their four adopted sons in Ann Arbor, Mich.
