Arts & Letters Live gets more gays

Even before the official full-season announcement, the DMA’s Arts & Letters Live series released word that David Sedaris would be returning to Dallas for a reading next spring. Yesterday, they gave us a peek at the rest of the season, which includes some more gay-interest programming.

Among the highlights: Pop-up children’s book artist Robert Sabuda, pictured, whose elaborate creations wow adults as much as kids. And the Texas Bound series of literary readings includes performances by local actors James Crawford and Liz Mikel.

Also of interest in the press materials: Liz Mikel’s bio indicates that she has been selected as one of the new company members of the Dallas Theater Center. The DTC has only official released the name of one member, Lee Trull, and doesn’t plan on an official announcement of the rest until January. But we now know three (Trull, Mikel and “Tommy” himself, Cedric Neal). Why the wait, guys?
