The fifth annual Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce Pride Parade has been scheduled for Saturday, June 3, at 8:30 p.m. in downtown Austin.
The parade kicks off a week of pride activities in Austin.
The chamber sponsors the annual pride parade, promoting a positive image of pride, joy, unity and diversity in the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community in the capital city.

To help groups prepare for this year’s parade, the Chamber has announced this year’s parade theme: “Celebrating Family.”

For the first time this year, the Chamber presented a float building workshop to encourage groups to make this parade more fabulous than years past.
