		<description>This was a nice article,  however, I have to respectfully disagree with one thing: The Assyrians were not involved in this time period.  During that time period, the Assyrian Empire was no longer in power and Greek rule (or the Hellenistic period), was in full force. Both the Jews and Assyrians shared the same restrictions.  Also, by this time, Jonah, the great Jewish prophet, had already come to the Assyrians to pass on the word of God. To this day, Assyrians hold celebrations in honor of Jonah.
