Big Brother now watching Uptown

A system of police cameras is being launched this afternoon along McKinney Avenue between Pearl  and Blackburn streets, The Dallas Morning News reports. The system of 11 cameras cost $160,000 and was paid for by the nonprofit Uptown Dallas Inc.
