Black HIV/AIDS Candlelight Vigil

Alex Byrd, left, and Emma Cager light their candles during a vigil to commemorate National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on Feb. 7 at the Reverchon Park Amphitheater in Dallas. About 25 people attended the event organized by the Legacy of Success Foundation, an LGBT group for people of color. Byrd, apostle at Living Faith Covenant Church, was keynote speaker. The Legacy of Success Foundation will continue to mark Black History Month with Heritage Celebration Weekend from Thursday, Feb. 21 through Sunday, Feb. 24.
