Dallas police seek 'well-groomed' suspect in NorthPark shooting

Dallas police are reporting that they’ve received only two tips in response to their release yesterday of a sketch of the suspect in a shooting outside NorthPark Center last month. “Please feel free to re-air it,” DPD Cpl. Kevin Janse said in an e-mail to media outlets a few minutes ago. “We are hoping to get more calls each time it is broadcast.”

We all know NorthPark is a gay mecca, and here at Instant Tea, we want to do our part, so we have posted the sketch above. We’re not suggesting that the suspect is a member of the LGBT community, although the beard and moustache seem to be registering on our gaydar. The DPD press release from yesterday states: “The witness specifically remembers him having high cheek bones, a thin mustache/beard and diamond stud earrings. He was also described as being well groomed.”
