Wayne Alan Sempf, 53, of Oak Cliff in Dallas died Monday, March 1 following a long illness. He was born July 19, 1956, in St. Paul, Minn., to Gil and Joyce Sempf of Woodbury, Minn.
Sempf was passionate about decorating and gardening. His home looked like it came from a page in "Architectural Digest" magazine. His backyard made you feel like you were on a tropical island.
He was very outgoing and always surrounded by friends and loved ones. He loved to cook and entertain, and his parties were always unforgettably fabulous events.
Sempf is survived by his partner of 10 years, Greg Romack; his father, Gil; brothers, Donn and Paul; and sister, Sandy.
He will be buried next to his beloved mother in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Maplewood, Minn.
