Christopher Tracy Yarbro, 43, passed away recently. He was the baby in the family and was rumored to have been “spoiled.”

He was also rumored to have been the Disco King at the eighth grade dance. In high school, Yarbro met two of his life-long friends, Chris Dacus and Norman Spain.

The three moved to Memphis. After a couple of years, Yarbro moved to Dallas and began a seven-year career with Eddie Bauer. He met his partner Mike Barton at a birthday celebration for Dacus. They moved back to Memphis and got their English bulldog, Bossy.

After Yarbro received a degree in architecture, he and Barton began a home remodeling business. They were living in Asheville, N.C., at the time of his death. Travel was a passion in their lives. He is survived by his parents, Sanford and Doris, and four siblings.

He will be missed by his many friends including Richard Aguilar, Peter West and Jeff Holt, Larry Goodwin, Thom Stayart, Doug Atkinson, James Jernigan and Brent Foster, Sarah Popek and Lynn Burman, David Randolph, Kathy Coleman, Sally Goodwin, Donna Holcomb, Tracy Ausenbaugh, Gera Dacus, Mark Greenish, Tim Thomas and Lance Licciardi, Michael Parker.
