Don Everett Whitehall, 71, died of natural causes at his Dallas residence on Dec. 10.
A native Texan, Whitehall graduated with a master’s degree from Texas A&M University. His lifelong passion for aircraft and travel were evident early by his service in the U.S. Air Force and his missionary work in Pakistan.
Whitehall retired from a career in teaching and administration with the Dallas Independent School District. He was instrumental in establishing the “Other Sheep” Multicultural Ministries with Sexual Minorities in Mexico City.
Whitehall is survived by two brothers, Wilbur Whitehall of Grapeland, Texas; and Bill Whitehall of Trinity, Texas.
A private memorial service was held at Whitehall’s residence on Dec. 16.
