In the Season 2 debut of Logo’s RuPaul’s Drag Race, three queens with ties to Dallas — Mystique, Shangela and Sahara — all ended up in the bottom three. (We wrote about them here.) Mystique got the reprieve which left best friends Sahara and Shangela to (say it with me!) “Lip synch … for you LIFE!” (And they did it to “Cover Girl” by none other than RuPaul.) In the end, it was Shangela, who only started doing drag five months before filming, to be the first to be told to sashay away.
