“Drag Race” back for Season 5, seeks auditions

Despite officially abandoning gay programming, Logo at least knows one thing its audience enjoys: Drag queens in a weekly bitch-off. Logo has given the greenlight to a fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race which will begin airing, as has been the custom, in early 2013. (It will presumably follow the all-stars edition previously announced.)

More than that, though, the show is seeking audition videos from hopeful dragtestants. Queens wanting to be considered for the show can upload video from now until April 18. Then from the 18th through May 2, fans can weigh in on which queen they prefer, and the winner will be added to the cast.
