A lot to be thankful for: Jessie Kiannejad loves speed, but slows down to give thanks

Name and age: Jessie Kiannejad
Spotted at: McDonald’s on Fitzhugh and 75
Occupation: Student (studying business), motocrossing (racing #509)
Always in motion: This moto-cross riding Libra owns two dirt bikes and a street bike. Aside from having a hog between her legs, the perpetually-moving Jessie enjoys longboarding, jet-skiing and off-roading in her truck.
Half Persian, all Texan!: This tomboy lives hard and plays hard — including drums with several bands — and loves to spend time at Station 4 with her friends. She adores hardcore rap and techno, and her favorite bands include Kaskade, Benny Benassi, Deftones, Limp Bizkit and Dead Mau5.
Just at one year ago, Jessie broke her back in a hairpin turn on her dirt bike, and her doctors were apprehensive of her ever walking again. After extensive physical therapy she was back on her feet and before too long, back on her bike. “The second I got my brace off, I got right back out there!”
