Stonewall Democrats of Dallas is urging people to attend the Fort Worth City Council meeting tomorrow night — Tuesday, July 14 — in a show of solidarity with the Fort Worth LGBT community as the community continues to demand answers following the June 28 raid on the Rainbow Lounge.
Here is the info from the e-mail:
“Come to the Fort Worth City Council hearing to stand up for fairness and equality. Voice your opinion on the Rainbow Lounge Raid or just make a statement by your very presence. If there was ever a time to stand up for your community, it is now. The whole world is watching. If you’ve ever had a drink in a gay bar, you need to be there. This is more than a gay issue, it’s a human rights issue.
