Haaz Sleiman, the gorgeous Lebanese actor from the Oscar-nominated film The Visitor, has been fired from his role as  gay nurse Mohammed on the new Showtime series Nurse Jackie. Sources told EW’s gay reporter Michael Ausiello that the sacking came as a surprise to Sleiman, whow as told by the producers his character’s story had “run its course.” Yeah, because a season and a half is the max you can squeeze out of a gay character.

Series creator Linda Willem defended the move to, telling the gay Web site that the series would remain gay friendly because a hospital has “tons of gay nurses” and promised a gay love triangle coming up on the show. Season 2 begins March onlineсоздание фавикона
