For the most part, gay men can be broken into two camps: those who look at the Abercrombie & Fitch catalogs, and those who want to be in the catalogs. (Fine, there’s a third group, too the ones who never admit looking at the catalogs and say they hate everything about them.)
For the camera-ready A&F hopefuls, many agencies will still say that being openly gay can detract from your career. Not OnDisplayMen. For now, the start-up male modeling agency is introducing a line of beefcake calendars, featuring 30 studs from across the country. Four studs are from Dallas, and according to agency rep Alan Rust, two of his North Texas stallions are openly gay, like Jimmy Ramsey, pictured.
The ebony muscle stud is 23 years old. Ramsey says he’s worked with Abercrombie. But his dream job is to land a Dolce & Gabbana campaign. Right now, Ramsey is flaunting a set of eye-popping abs in his calendar.
Last weekend, OnDisplayMen held a launch party at Republic Restaurant and Bar where 10 stallions, including Ramsey, showed off their hotness.
