Dallas Police are investigating the murder of Mitchell Polk, a gay man whose body found Aug. 23 outside an abandoned, boarded-up building off Peabody Avenue in South Dallas, near AIDS Arms’ Peabody Clinic.
Polk’s body was reportedly found naked with a gash in his head.

The body remained unidentified for several days, until a friend filed a missing person report on Polk.
