Gov. Rick Perry just blocked us on Twitter

Posted on 28 Feb 2011 at 1:12pm
Tweet

We’re truly honored to be among the Twitter users who’ve been blocked by Gov. Rick Perry (@governorperry). Both my personal account (@JohnIsWright) and the Dallas Voice account (@DallasVoice) have been blocked, as apparently the governor spent the weekend combing through followers and weeding out certain members of the media. With the Legislature in session and Texas facing a $27 billion budget shortfall, we suppose Perry just doesn’t have anything more pressing to do. Rest assured, though, we’ll still be watching for him — not only on Twitter, but also Manhunt.
