DV contributor Hardy Haberman chases a storm to his own house

Apparently those storms the other night really wreaked some havoc. Just ask Dallas Voice contributor and Stonewall Democrats of Dallas board member Hardy Haberman, pictured above. According to his blog, Dungeon Diary, Haberman went storm-chasing on Wednesday. Haberman said he was on the big one that produced the tornadoes but couldn’t keep up with it because of bad roads in the area. Get this, though: After Haberman returned home Wednesday night, a big storm came right to his house and knocked a tree onto his truck, crushing it. As my fortune cookie said the other night, “Sometimes the thing you are chasing will come to you if you just stop chasing it.” Just kidding, it didn’t really say that, and don’t listen to people when they tell you that about guys. It never works. They just run farther away. Sorry, Hardy.
