Homophobia Greets Soldier’s Return to Army

A former soldier who was discharged from the military under “don’t ask,
don’t tell” attempted to re-enlist at a recruitment center in Long
Beach, Calif. only to be exposed to an antigay conversation by
recruiters in the office.
