Because gay Pride wouldn’t be gay Pride unless the MCC offended some right-wing motorists
Dallas Pride must be getting close, because the Metropolitan Community Church of Greater Dallas has again taken out billboards on area interstates saying — as The 33 News puts it in the above report — that “Jesus loves gays!”
This year’s billboards went up last week along Interstate 35, one near Walnut Hill and one near Regal Row. One billboard says, “Jesus affirmed a gay couple” and the other says, “The early church welcomed a gay man.”
Last year the MCC church took out similar billboards on Interstate 30 as part of the “Why Would We?” campaign.
“We knew that they were provocative and we went with a billboard that would be provocative in order to get dialogue,” MCC Pastor Colleen Darraugh explains. “If it’s not, people don’t talk about it.”
One woman tells The 33: “I don’t think it should be on a billboard. I think that if people have opinions they should keep them within their circles.”
But our new BFF Debbie Clark gets the last word: “In today’s world it’s accepted, and if people don’t accept it, I think something’s wrong with them.”

I want the billboards to be seen by all. I am so proud to be a Gay Christian and I want all to know that Jesus loves me too. Not just hetros, right wing fanatics, but me, little so called non existant me. I am there praying for of the haters and bigots so that u will see that if Jesus can love little me, then Jesus can love u too.
Of course Jesus loves ‘gays’ What’s the big deal over this issue? In the same way, Jesus loves thieves, murderers and pedophiles, wife beaters, prostitutes, pimps, lesbians, liars, satanists, terrorists, crooks, Jews, Muslims, Mormons, Roman Catholics, ALL SINNERS and UNBELIEVERS. Even so, the scriptures warns:- ”Take heed lest there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief” Just what is so special about gays? Oh I know many will say they were born like it. It’s true you know, they were. In the same way that I was conceived; in sin and iniquity. The same way as King David – a man after Gods’ own heart – had this to say:- ”Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me” (Psalm 51: 5). Every damned one of us was born into some sin or other, gays are no exception. Does God love them? Of course He does. Does He detest and abhor what they do? Of course He does. Does He hate the terrorists who blow up buildings and murder innocent people? Of course He don’t hate them – He loves them. Does He hate what they do? Oh yes! Is His hatred for Hamas any different to any other criminal? Not at all. Jesus has a love which is so, so perfect that no other human being has ever had in the same measure. ”But God commanded His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us” ( Romans 5: 8). But when it comes down to hatred for gays, ah now that’s a different matter altogether…. Why is this you may well ask? Well, I shall not slot in my own wishy washy opinions, I shall simply tell the truth by the Supreme Authority of Scripture without fear of reproach, without twisting what the Bible says, and without any violation to the pure word of God. Ready? Here we go! Romans chapter one verses 24. ”Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves. Verse 26 – 29. ”For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections; for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, etc; etc; etc; etc; etc; Yuk! sickening isn’t it? Look at the language of Almighty God, compared to the language of this sin-sick world we live in. Of course, there will always be those who love to twist what the Bible says to make it fit with an ungodly lifestyle. The love to tweak the scriptures here and there to justify that which God calls vile affections born from a reprobate mind. The truth always hurts, even so, it’s the truth. ”But as it happened unto them according to the true proverb, the dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire” 1 Peter 2: 22). Both male and female. That’s sad-you-see.

John you have effectively and rightfully divided the word of God. Let him that hath an ear hear what the spirit saith unto the church!!! We do foolishly when we attempt to justify what the bible clearly teaches as an error and vile affection. Even the natural beasts of the field go about reproducing male and female. Where’s the beef? All gone, if they are homosexual and lesbian.
“Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.” (John 14:22-24)
Do you love God (the Word) and does his Father love you? Do you “keep his words” or pervert/twist (destroy) them?
To all…believe the Word (God) and be saved. Just do not be among those who have “perverted the words of the living God”. (Jer 23:36)
Just believe and be saved! :) Or not. :(
