So, the AFI Dallas International Film Festival came to a close tonight, and the winner for the Texas Filmmaker award (20,000 simoleans) went to… well, it went to “Cook County.” But Yen Tan’s “Ciao” was the sole “honorable mention” winner in that category. Too bad he didn’t win, but kudos to the local gayboy.
