You're right, there are many observances that are designed to raise awareness of various health issues. As editor of Pulse magazine (www.pulse.dallasnews.com), I often try include content that pertains to timely and relevant awareness campaigns. Consider this: May has at least 30 monthlong health-care observances, 14 weeklong observances, and more than a dozen recognition days. With so many things to be aware of, it's no wonder you are more inclined to "read and delete."</description>
