I predict that things will continue to get worse for Gay Americans. Because of the heightened marriage movement in California. I hope I'm wrong, but I can't help but think things will get worse similar to the Civil Rights Movement in the 60's. Be on alert and do not walk alone! Although Mr. Dean is in critical condition it could have been worse had he been alone. This type of action is not tolerable and the gay community should be contacting city elected officials to voice their concern that this is not being tried as a hate crime. The testimonies of Mr. Robinson and the officers is enough to try them for several counts including hate crime. I urge everyone to make the phone call, send an email and let our officials realize that we will not tolerate this behavior! Be safe out there. My heart just sank when I read of this news in the DV.
