What kind of pathetic excuse for a news editor has never heard of Peaches & Herb?
December 2nd, 2008This one is dedicated to Jack E. Jett, who actually made a Peaches & Herb reference in the comments of the post below. But above all to to “X,” who subsequently said of me (and I shit you not), “the fact that he has never heard of Peaches and Herb makes me greatly question his credentials even more.”

X- I apologize. It is my fault that Dallas Voice has a news editor who never heard of Peaches and Herb. I did not think to ask that question during his job interview.

Well that is someone who has clearly never shaken their groove thang, shake your groove thang come on…..get out on the dance floor, yeah yeah……grab you poppers , take your shirt off and shake your groove thang ..shake your groove thang…yeah yeah……
They also had a song called Reunited which the Dallas comedy troupe Punch Drunk did a version called Were Related which was about incest.
I think if anything Tammye, this is proof positive that you do not listen to The Jack E. Jett Show often enough. How is that for slipping in some shameless self promotion.

Tammye – It seems you also did not think to ask him if he lacked candor. That’s one virtue I would expect to be at the top of the list when most Senior Editors look for News Editors.
