My girl J-Hud returns for Super Bowl XLIII

On Sunday, Feb. 1. Jennifer Hudson returns to the spotlight to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl.

As a former South-Side Chicagoan, I diva-worship Hudson. This will be first performance following the October slayings of her mother, brother and nephew.

Stock up on the Kleenex.
