If one was white..if one was black…if one were your friend..if your friend was a police officer..if he were gay..if he could say..I am gay..Fort worth and th TABC…shame. You make Texas, a great state with great people..sorry. SHAME

We moved here about two years ago from the Northeast. This is exactly the type of bad behavior and outright discrimination that gives the south and Texas a negative reputation. We in the community need to demand change.

Looks as though both FW PD and TABC will come under some scrunity that will echo for quite some time. I am happy to see this. TABC used to pull up in a huge RV motor home in front of Cedar Springs at night and go in and try arresting everyone but there were probably more than they could haul at one time! But in all honesty and seriousness, I am glad to see this come to the light as bright as it has – another step forward towards the fight for equality and fair treatment for the LGBT community – making progress folks!

Maybe it’s time to do away with the TABC completely. They were created to regulate the liquor industry after the feds turned it over to the states after prohibition (see rake in tax revenue $$$$).
Since local governments decide how and where liquor can be served or sold, why can’t local jurisdictions take care of enforcement? Why do we need ’state police’ to do this when the state’s resources could be better spent taking care of true state issues?
