Singleton sentenced to 75 years

August 27th, 2009

Bobby Jack Singleton has been sentenced to 75 years in prison for his role in the July 2008 robbery of Jimmy Lee Dean. The sentence means Singleton will serve a minimum of 37 1/2 years before he is eligible for parole. Singleton is 30 years old. I’ll have a full report on Singleton’s trial in Friday’s Voice.

I’m really happy about the outcome! BJS is young so I really hope he gets what he deserves and has plenty of new “friends” in prison.
