There’s nothing specifically gay about The Specatcular Senior Follies: Young at Heart, a cabaret-style review playing this weekend at the Majestic Theater … except, of course, the creative talent behind the scenes. Mark Carroll presents the show, which includes choreography by John de los Santos, costumes by Aaron Patrick Turner and sets by Randel Wright. They put an older cast of showgirls and chorus boys through their paces. I’ve seen the notorious version in Palm Springs, and I have to say: It’s surprisingly entertaining and campy stuff.
