Gay-friendly Dell Inc. to purchase not-so-gay-friendly Perot Systems Corp.

Last week I reported that Plano-based Perot Systems Corp. had reinstated domestic partner benefits, increasing the company’s HRC score from 0 percent to 53 percent. Today the Dallas Morning New reports that Round Rock-based Dell Inc. has agreed to buy Perot Systems for $3.9 billion. In case you’re wondering, Dell has consistently scored a perfect 100 percent on the Corporate Equality Index from HRC, including this year.
