LSR Closing Ceremonies- “A Cure”

Lone Star Ride Fighting AIDS Closing Ceremonies were very moving, from the personal stories from those who have lost loved ones to the presentation of the riderless bike — and especially this beautiful song, written and performed by local singer/songwriter Hilary Roberts.

    What a beautiful song… However, It was a little disheartening to see the sparce crowd… I remember not too many years ago much bigger crowds at any HIV/AIDS function…I have noticed smaller and smaller crowds at many of these types of events…I pray that our short memories are not permanent…I pray for the cure that renders these events unnecessary…
