Get your Drac on
October 23rd, 2009You might not be able to see the opera on Friday night, but you can certainly check out the Winspear this weekend, with an appearance by Oscar-nominated composer Phillip Glass, performing his piece Dracula. Glass, who previously re-scored the Jean Cocteau film La belle et la bete with stunning beauty, turns his sights on the very queer Bela Lugosi classic. It’s Saturday, Oct. 24, at 8 p.m., so you can see it and still make the fun laate-night at the Block Party. Tickets are available at TITAS.org.
