He can say what he wants. The LGBT community is lost in the DFW community. You losers do not want real change...that is clear. You all want more to focus on looking good and getting credit rather than making real change. Screw ya'all

It's been going around that the LGBT community use duct tape over their mouths en masse to make a statement - that we have nothing to say to the anti-gays/fundies, that we are often silenced, and that our battle is not with the religious, it's with the diversity agenda-changing. We will still have our signs, but it would make quite an impact for the most vocal of our community to take a silent stand, especially after Sunday's Milk Box and the Kiss-In.

Bottom line: "Irregardless," though an actual word, is definitely nonstandard and generally corrected. I'm disappointed in you, Saved Girl ---- err, Disappointed Reader.

The whole freedom of speech thing sure gets muddy when it's online, isn't it. On one hand, it's not challenging our right to privacy because we don't have to allow hate speech on the site. However, 'fighting words' are not free speech. That's a line that I think this poster crossed.

Boy, isn't this the pot calling the kettle black.......... (used figuratively lest we start some new racial article here in the Dallas Voice)

You are the last person Tammye who should be talking about people "crossing the line" with their views and censoring their words, especially when you censor comments here at the Dallas Voice and shroud it with some terms of use policy.

Why don't you just stop beating around the bush Tammye and come right out and say it. Its completely acceptable for YOU to go on and air YOUR political and religious views and criticizms, but everyone else who may have a political and religious view which may be different from yours warrants "approval" , ""criticism" and "censorship" at the behest of the Nash / Wright editorial tribunal......................How utterly one-sided and hypocritical !!!

The truth is, if you all at the Dallas Voice, especially you Tammye and John, wouldn't keep attempting to stir up trouble via your postings attacking and targeting these people for their beliefs, then there really is no surprise why these religious organizations keep on the way they do.............

I say, if you all spent more time doing your job over there and reporting about the community as you do trying to pick fights with these churches and shove your political and religious ideology down people's throats then perhaps our community might be in a better place than it is now..........

Bottom line, ALL people have a constitutional right to free speech, irregardless of whether or not that offends the Nash / Wright ego..............

Just sharing some education with those sharing their beliefs with us.

“God will not be mocked…and He will never ACCEPT homosexuals HAVING special right which IS against natural law and FLIES in the face of His commandments."

or

“God will not be mocked…and He will never ACCEPT homosexuals HAVING special RIGHTS which are against natural law and fly in the face of His commandments. "

STOP THIS ABBOMINATION!!” (should be) stop this ABOMINATION!!”

To Mod E regarding "judgement" from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judgment_(law)#Spelling

The spelling judgment is found in the Authorized Version of the Bible. As a result, it is the preferred spelling in a legal context throughout the common law world.
