As a SWBT tained grammatical historical interpreter of the Bible the ignorance of the “Christian” protesters grieves me. You can take Scripture out of context, either grammatical or historical, and make it support anything. The Bible says that Judas hanged himself. The Bible also says go thou and do likewise. I rarely find anyone putting these together to encourage mass suicide, but it is no more out of context than their statements concerning transgender or homosexuality.

As a trangender individual I appreciate the support of the gay and lesbian community in this struggle for our civil rights.

Don’t sweat it Israel. It’s when the new generations only uses ideas and methods from the old generation that we’re in trouble. What some fail to recognize is that we live in a whole new world and questioning old ideas is not only appropriate, it is necessary.

Where did I say that I wasn’t grateful?

The only “older generation” that has to do with my existence is my parents and grandparents, etc. and they don’t have that mentality.

As far as every other “older generation” with that archaic mentality, I AM grateful that they’re around. It’s made me the person I am. And I also have accepted that they (and their mentality) are going to die.

Good footage, Israel. I have to agree with Mark that I was disturbed by seeing Rick V. call this guy “a piece of shit” and then try to kiss him twice. One thing’s for sure: Rick can’t blame the Dallas Voice for making that up.
