Bob: I’d love to see the difference. They would see substantial savings because Parker’s income was much higher than Hubbard’s. That’s exactly what the tax code was written to benefit – a breadwinner and a stay-at-home mom who may have some smaller income.

Josh: Equality? She’s NOT making an issue of her sexual orientation. Parker is ‘This is who I am. Let’s move on to the issues.’ The “pastors” are making the issue. We’re talking outright bigotry by these so-called holy men. You have to wonder who else they hate. I’m sure they think Locke, the African American city attorney running against Parker, is merely the less horrible choice.

Phyllis: The Parker campaign released new information today about opponent Gene Locke’s benefiting financially from business dealings with the city. ‘Nuff said.

I figure it cost me about 2k/year because my partner and I cannot file as a married couple. Since these returns were release publicly, could a kind CPA run them as married filing jointly and report the exact savings?
