AIDS Arms announces new hires

Officials with AIDS Arms Inc. have announced the addition of non-profit veterans Kris Martin and Naomi C.T. White to the agency’s fundraising team.

"We are thrilled to have these two women as a part of our resource development team," said AIDS Arms Executive Director Raeline Nobles. Martin has been hired as manager of individual giving to develop and retain major donors for the Call to Arms expansion campaign, a project of the Red Ribbon Society at AAI designed to raise funds to build an additional medical clinic in the southern sector of Dallas.

Martin has more than 30 years of marketing, public relations, communications and development experience, having worked with PBS, Dallas Voice and KERA. She also worked for Cathedral of Hope, where she assisted with two successful capital campaigns.

White will serve as development associate at AAI, where her chief role is to help manage the agency’s annual LifeWalk event. This year’s event, set for Oct. 10, will mark LIfeWalk’s 20th anniversary.

White has more than 12 years of marketing and development experience, having worked for Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the cause related marketing department, developing and maintaining sponsorship relationships.
