Cathedral of Hope presenting ‘Dating Boot Camp’ led by author Jim Sullivan

The Cathedral of Hope’s Singles Ministry will host a “Dating Boot Camp” on Saturday, May 19 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., led by relationship expert and “Boyfriend 101″ author Jim Sullivan.

Sullivan is an author, dating and relationship coach and national advice columnist. He began presenting dating workshops for gay singles in the early 1990s and has brought his message, “Conscious dating is the foundation from which a committed and enduring partnership is built,” to thousands throughout the United States.

Sullivan holds masters degrees in counseling from New York University and in religious studies from Manhattan College.

The workshop is for singles and couples, men and women, and will teach participants how to break habitual patterns of choosing the wrong partner.

Tickets are $15 and are available at the door. The Cathedral of Hope is located at 5910 Cedar Springs.

Log Cabin Republicans meeting to feature talk radio host Mark David, BTD co-chairs

The Dallas chapter of the Log Cabin Republicans will meet Monday, May 21, at Mattito’s Restaurant, 3011 Routh St. (at Cedar Springs).

Happy hour begins at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting begins at 7 p.m.
Guest speakers will be Mark Davis of WBAP Radio and Black Tie Dinner co-chairs Dieadra Burns and Randy Ray.

LeatherMastersDallas to hold send-off party for International Mr. Leather contestant

LeatherMastersDallas, 3000 Main Street in Dallas, will hold a send-off party for Julian Harris, Mr. Texas Leather 2007 and International Mr. Leather contestant, on Saturday, May 19, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The International Mr. Leather contest is being held May 24-28 in Chicago
Everyone is invited to attend the party.
