Cathedral offering “‘early Christmas Eve’ service fon Wednesday
The Cathedral of Hope will offer an early “Christmas Eve” service featuring singer Lisa Michaels on Wednesday for those who will be out of town for the church’s regularly scheduled weekend services.
The candlelight service begins at 7:07 p.m. and will feature a special message from the Rev. Michael Piazza, dean of the Cathedral, and Christmas music by the Voices of Hope choir.
“With Christmas Eve falling on a Saturday this year, we realized that many people would not have the opportunity to worship here at home this year. So we decided to have a special service on Wednesday night in addition to the three services we will have on Christmas Eve. It will be a wonderful way to begin the journey to Christmas,” said the Rev. Jo Hudson, rector of the cathedral.
Cathedral of Hope is located at 5910 Cedar Springs Road.
