Cedar Springs Art Fest is Saturday
The fourth annual Cedar Springs Art Festival is from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 28.
CSMA Executive Director Scott Whittall said it will be bigger than ever with more than 125 artists and artisans displaying paintings, ceramics, sculpture, furniture, candles, art glass, photography, jewelry and more. Food and beer vendors will also be on the street.

‘Brunch and Bulldozers’ with RCD
Resource Center Dallas will celebrate a milestone in building its new community center with the demolition of an abandoned shopping center on the site of its new home. On Saturday, April 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., “Brunch and Bulldozers” will feature food trucks and entertainment.

Paul J. Williams will emcee, and Robert Olivas, Denise Lee, Mel Arizpe, Eric Way, Angie Landers and Gary Floyd will perform. The event is at the corner of Cedar Springs and Inwood roads.

AOC hosts fundraiser at brewery
AIDS Outreach Center will hold a fundraiser at Rahr & Sons Brewery, 701 Galveston Ave. in Fort Worth, from 1–3 p.m. on April 28. Entry is $10, which includes any three Rahr beers and a Rahr Brewery mug. A food vendor will be at the event, so bring cash.
