RIBBON CUTTING |
Fort Worth Mayor Pro Tem Danny Scarth, seated center, and City Councilwoman Kathleen Hicks, fourth from right, joined Tarrant County AIDS Outreach Center Executive Director Allan Gould, third from right, and AOC Board President Michael Cinatl, fourth from left, in cutting the ribbon to officially christen AOC’s new facilities on Beach Street in Fort Worth. AOC merged with Tarrant County AIDS Interfaith Networth last summer and the combined agencies, now operating under the name AIDS Outreach Center, moved into the facilities at the end of August. The new AOC facilities are located in Scarth’s City Council district, and the former location, in the Fort Worth Hospital District, was in Hicks’ district. Hicks also formerly served on the AOC board. (Tammye Nash/Dallas Voice)
