Passing a fully inclusive Texas Employment Non-Discrimination Act is a priority of Out & Equal DFW. Out & Equal DFW and all of the great DFW companies that support us look forward to partnering with the entire LGBT community to make this a reality!
Many people are unaware that it is legal to discriminate against a person based on sexual orientation or gender identity under U.S. federal law. In 29 states, it's legal to fire someone simply for being gay, lesbian or bisexual, and in 38 states, it's legal to fire someone for being transgender. The Employment Non-discrimination Act (ENDA), if approved, would extend protection from discrimination based on irrational prejudice to LGBT employees across the country.

Passing a Texas Employment Non-Discrimination Act is a priority of Out & Equal DFW. Making the workplace a better place for everyone is our number one objective. Out & Equal DFW and all of the great DFW companies that support Out & Equal look forward to partnering with the entire DFW LGBT community to make this a reality! Out & Equal Workplace Advocates is a key and important resource that should be involved in these discussions. Many people are unaware that it is legal to discriminate against a person based on sexual orientation or gender identity under U.S. federal law. However important legal protections are, there also exist a variety of other methods to implement equal workplace policies. Please check out our website athttp://outandequal.org/enda

No offense to any of the people above, but who are these people? What gives them the right to represent the entire LGBTQ community. Most of us have never heard of any of these people. I don't like that these people are self proclaiming that they speak for our community. And it seams its just a bunch of lesbians too. Where are the gay men, transgender people, etc. Do you have anyone young in there?
Drives me crazy that some people like to claim they speak for all of us.
