Oak Lawn Car and Motorcycle Show set for this weekend

OL MotorcycleSpectrum Motorcycle Riding Club presents the Oak Lawn Car and Motorcycle Show on Saturday. Classic Chassis Car Club will also be on hand.

The Canadian reality show Detours will be there filming throughout the afternoon.

Although admission is free, the event is a fundraiser. Vouchers will be sold for $1 to vote on a favorite car and motorcycle.

Spectrum-MRC is a motorcycle riding club for LGBT/Friendly riders. All types of motorcyclists and their passengers are welcome as well as those who have an interest in learning to ride. The group meets the second and fourth weekend of the month for a Saturday or Sunday ride that typically starts at 10:30 a.m. Dates are posted on the website.

The event takes place in the paid parking lot between Skivvies and Sam Houston Elementary School on May 11 from noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
